Harold Thomas Shines, Sr.,

is a loving husband, dad, and granddad and follower of JesusChrist 

Harold was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, a graduate of Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and a minor in management. Harold is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served from 1971 – 1974. Harold now resides in Portland, Tennessee with his wife Linda. In 2021 Harold was ordained as Pastor of Mt. Zion Apostolic Church, Franklin Kentucky.

Harold has written poems and curricula for pastor’s anniversaries and P. C. A. F. religious publications. Harold was born again in May of 1986 where hed dedicated his time in service at the Original Christ Temple, 340 Hadley Bend Road, Old Hickory, Tennessee. While serving O. C. T. he held and served in positions as choir president for 25 years, and also held positions as president of the men’s department, president of the Usher’s Board, president of the Sunday School, as well as being on the Deacon Board and served as a board member for several years.

Harold was called into the ministry as a teacher, than a preacher. Harold has worked and retired from the State of Tennessee where he worked for 13 years, before retiring and working at home helping people get their social security Disability, which he still does on occasion when needed.

His passion poems, praying for those in need, teaching out of the word of God; his passion for helping others grow into the knowledge of God’s salvation plan.

Harold’s children consist of three girls Michelle, Kesha, and Chrysta as well as two boys, Harold, Jr., and Solomon.
